Norwegian entries

Hei!

:) --Njardarlogar (talk) 22:47, 15 March 2014 (UTC)

Contact clauses in the Norwegian language

Hey,

is it actually possible to construct contact clauses in Norwegian, for example, could the relative pronoun be omitted in this sentence: "I took the keys (that) you left on the table"?

Greets HeliosX (talk) 15:59, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

Yes indeed! The word in this case would be "som". In most cases I think it would be omitted, just like in English.

Hi,

okay, thank you! :) How would you translate the example sentence into Norwegian with the relative pronoun, actually?

Greets HeliosX (talk) 17:17, 17 January 2015 (UTC)

Jeg tok nøklene (som) du la igjen på bordet.

Hi,
ok, thanks.
Actually, I wanted to use this information for a school project. Would you permit me, using your personal name, when listing up my sources? I'd only need it for this project, which is actually a book that I'm going to have bound and that I'm going to hand out to a teacher of mine. I won't make any attempts to misuse the knowledge of your name.
If you want to do so you can send me your name in an e-mail to "[email protected]".
Otherwise, if it's okay with you, you could tell me whether you're female or male and in which country you were born, thus I could write in German with whom I conducted an interview more impersonally.
Regards
