These are the rules concerning transliteration in Dargwa entries. It follows Gippert, J.: Caucasian Alphabet Systems Based Upon the Cyrillic Script. (TITUS) (http://titus.uni-frankfurt.de/didact/caucasus/kaukschr.pdf), with the following exceptions: а is always transliterated as a, б is always transliterated as b. The letters found only in Russian loanwords follow the scholarly transliteration for Russian.
