1. A person in charge of or highly skilled in chocolate production.
2. chocolatier (small producer of chocolate)

   The chocolatier's gorgeous creations wooed the surrounding neighbourhood.

This word is used of relatively small shops, preferably such where the chocolates are made by hand and where the skill may be attributed to one or few persons. A medium size establishment, or one which sells confectionery produced by others, might be called suklaaliike (“chocolate shop”) and an industrial scale facility would be suklaatehdas (“chocolate factory”).
