suurjännite

1. (electrical engineering) high voltage

There's no universal value above which a voltage shall be called suurjännite. In Finnish electric safety regulations for electricity distribution, the limit is 1 kV, but in power transmission networks only voltages of 110 kV and above are regarded as suurjännite, whereas in electronics the word may be used of much lower voltages than 1 kV.
