تَحَرَّكَ • (taḥarraka) V (non-past يَتَحَرَّكُ (yataḥarraku), verbal noun تَحَرُّك (taḥarruk))

1. to depart, to leave
2. to be in motion, to move
   • 609–632 CE, Qur'an, 75:17-18:

     لا تُحَرِّكْ بِهِ لِسَانَكَ لِتَعْجَلَ بِهِ / إنَّ عَلَيْنَا جَمْعَهُ وَقُرْآنَهُ / فَإِذَا قَرَأْنَاهُ فَٱتَّبِعْ قُرْآنَهُ / ثُمَّ إِنَّ عَلَيْنَا بَيَانَهُ

     Do not move your tongue quickly to hasten to read it. / Its collection and its recitation are on Us, / So when We recite it, follow its recitation. / And its eludication is also on Us.
