Most commonly analysed as τρίς (trís, “thrice”) +‎ ἥρως (hḗrōs, “hero”). Perhaps a predecessor to the Τριτοπάτορες (Tritopátores, literally “thrice-ancestors”). Considering the offerings, it was likely a deity of minor importance.
