We illustrate a simple and practical form of data post-processing which combines representation layout conversion and data extraction in order to improve analytical focus. We call it pretty-print. When doing manual data analysis, it is possible to speed up work and reduce error at the same time if the data representation can be easily scanned for relevant information.— (Niels Ole Bernsen, Laila Dybkjær, Multimodal Usability, 2009)
