šķīstība f (4th declension)

1. (religion) purity (the state of one who is without sin)

   mans tēvs bija uzaudzināts dziļi dievbijīgā ģimenē, kur pie galda patiesi vispirms noskaitījuši lūgšanu, dziedājuši baznīcas dziesmas sirdsskaidrā atdevībā reliģijas šķīstībai ― my father had been brought up in a deeply religious family, in which one recited a prayer at the table (and) sang hymns to religious purity with sincere devotion

2. (moral) purity, virtuousness (the state of one who is morally pure, virtuous)
