From Aramaic, represented by Jewish Babylonian Aramaic כְּשׁוּתָא (kəšūṯā, dodder), Classical Syriac ܟܫܽܘܬܳܐ (kəšūṯā, dodder), Arabic كُشُوث (kušūṯ, dodder).
