1. to give

   ܗܲܒ݂݇ܠ ܠܝܼ ܩܕ݂ܝܼ̈ܠܹܐ. ― hal lī qḏīlē. ― Give me the keys.

   ܐ݇ܡܝܼܪ ܠܝܼ ܐܸܠܘܼܗܝ ܕܒܸܬ ܝܵܗ݇ܒ݂ܹܢ ܠܘܼܟ݂ ܬܠܵܬ݂ ܟܘܿܣܝܵܬܹ̈ܐ. ― mīr lī ilūh d-bit yāḇēn lūḵ tlāṯ kōsyātē. ― I told him that I will give you three hats.

   ܟܹܐ ܒܵܥܹܐ ܕܝܵܗ݇ܒ݂ܹܠ ܟܸܣܦܵܐ ܠܬܲܪܥܵܝܵܐ ܦܲܪܨܘܿܦܵܐܝܼܬ݂. ― kē bāˁē d-yāḇēl kispā l-tarˁāyā parṣōpāˀīṯ. ― He wants to give money to the doorman personally.

     So let each one give as he purposes in his heart, not grudgingly or of necessity; God loves a cheerful giver.
