転化

Coined by Japanese philosopher Inoue Tetsujirō in 1881 in his work 哲学字彙 (Tetsugaku Jii, “Dictionary of Philosophy”) as a translation of English becoming, based on the phrase 轉化推移，得一之道，而以少正多 in the Huainanzi (《淮南子》).

     Kedashi issai no sonzai wa rekishiteki de ari, rekishiteki naru sonzai wa subete wareware o kaihō suru koto kara wareware o appaku suru koto ni made hitsuzenteki ni tenka suru mujun no sonzai de aru.

     In my opinion, all existence is historical, and all historical existence is inconsistent, inevitably turning from something that liberates us to something that oppresses us.
