Korean
Etymology
Blend of 찢다 (jjitda, “to tear; to rip”) + 이재명 (I-jaemyeong, “Lee Jae-myung”), from a leaked video of a personal dispute between Lee and his sister-in-law in 2014, during which Lee quotes his brother as having threatened to "rip" their mother's genitalia with a knife, apparently because she took Lee's side in a long-running family dispute. This was misunderstood or intentionally distorted by opponents as Lee himself having threatened his sister-in-law.
