Shouldn't this be handled by the derived terms section at shaped? If kept, it definitely needs a more systematic name. This, that and the other (talk) 09:32, 3 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Delete. There's no reason to present this list via template. Ultimateria (talk) 03:42, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I see some logic in using a template if the intention is to transclude it in multiple entries in the “Related terms” (or, preferably, “Coordinate terms”) section. It’s easier to update a template than multiple individual entries. — Sgconlaw (talk) 04:26, 5 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Delete The list on the template is an open set, subject to indefinite expansion, not even limited by attestation. The derived term section of shaped could be periodically repopulated from Wiktionary entries from the XML dumps, taking care to preserve any meaningful redlinked items. Move to Template:list:en:shaped, maybe, like other list templates? Or just delete. I do agree with Sgconlaw that it's sometimes better to centralize certain things in a template that can be pasted into all the "related terms" sections, rather than duplicate it across them all, but this seems so open-ended (as DCDuring notes) that it doesn't seem helpful... - -sche (discuss) 09:21, 31 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
The Derived terms at shaped is the logical and consistent place for this list. If you're listing e.g. months of the year, which in English are etymologically unrelated, then it makes sense to have the individual pages link to each other through a See also list. I don't see it in this case though. Ultimateria (talk) 23:43, 5 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
