{{term}} might be applied, I think it would be reasonable to allow for translations parameters as this is implemented for the term template. Before the automatic categorisation based on lang= (with implicit lang=en) was added, a number of FL entries used this template, which subsequently put their entries into "English words starting with xxx-". Someone should make a cleanup dump of FL entries having {{prefix}} invocations without the lang= specified (and prob. also for {{suffix}}). --Ivan Štambuk 16:54, 4 February 2009 (UTC)
Wouldn’t it be better use the root as the sorting key in the … words prefixed with xxx- category? Currently, e.g. all entries in Category:English words prefixed with grand- are sorted under G. --Mormegil 20:30, 14 April 2011 (UTC)
