Hello. Please be much more careful when adding translations in languages you don't know well. For example, all German nouns must be capitalised and the gender checkboxes should be marked for all languages that have grammatical gender. Thank you! —Μετάknowledgediscuss/deeds 01:07, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Yes, you're right, I'm sorry. I should probably stay with my language.
Those translations we're translated by humans, but that tiny detail was missing. Liggliluff (talk) 11:54, 1 May 2013 (UTC)Reply

Creating redirect {{hu-ipa}}

Hi, what is the purpose of the redirect to {{hu-IPA}}? --Panda10 (talk) 16:43, 13 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Because {{fa-ipa}}, {{ko-ipa}} exists, and if people are used to these, it'll be easier for them to find the other, and it's quicker and easier to not having to shift case.
But then, the other templates doesn't have lowercase redirects: {{ar-ipa}}, {{ca-ipa}}, {{cs-ipa}}, {{eo-ipa}}, {{et-ipa}}, {{fi-ipa}}, ...
And then you got: {{grc-IPA}}/{{grc-ipa}}
I believe the standard naming convention is xx-IPA. But I will bring up the subject at Beer Parlour. --Panda10 (talk) 18:34, 14 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

lábujjhegyenjáró

Hi Liggliluff, are you sure about this word? Can you refer me to the source where you found it? Google returns 9 hits, none of them are relevant. (It is a username of someone.) In English Wikipedia, unguligrade or ungulate is linked to Hungarian patások. Normally, in an adjective role, when used for a human being, it is written in two words, lábujjhegyen járó. Your Babel says you don't know Hungarian. May I ask what the reason is for adding Hungarian words? --Panda10 (talk) 21:36, 16 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

Mostly for making it easier for me to locate it for future research. Maybe lábujjhegyenjáró was too far of a stretch, but at least talponjáró and ujjonjáró shall be correct when I was talking to a Hungarian friend who was referring to a dictionary.
I'll admit I jumped to a conclusion to fast, and I shall not do that.
Liggliluff (talk) 22:38, 17 July 2017 (UTC)Reply
Ok, I deleted it. --Panda10 (talk) 23:52, 17 July 2017 (UTC)Reply

elöl

The word elöl is not an alternative spelling of elől. It is a completely different word. Please stop creating/editing words in a language you don't know. --Panda10 (talk) 19:23, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

I created it based on a Hungarian I talked to. I have now asked for clarification, and got this answer:
"its a small difference and people at different areas will use both or the other way around"
Liggliluff (talk) 19:47, 9 January 2018 (UTC)Reply
It's not a small difference but it's easy to confuse the two. Native speakers of any language don't always apply the correct grammar, let alone explain it. Please refrain from editing Hungarian. --Panda10 (talk) 00:02, 11 January 2018 (UTC)Reply

Rhymes:Swedish/ɛr

Hej!

Jag har nominerat uppslaget ^ för radering så du vet. Anledningen der du på sidan.Jonteemil (talk) 14:19, 24 January 2019 (UTC)Reply

Ja, det var ett misstag av mig. Men då ska genre#Swedish ändras från {{rhyme|ɛr|lang=sv}} till {{rhyme|aŋɛr|lang=sv}} förmodar jag, då "¹" inte behövs om det är längden på ändelsen som avgör betonigen.
