Etymology

From Middle Persian ʾmyhtn (āmēxtan), ultimately from Proto-Indo-European *meyḱ-, whence also English mix.

Verb

1. (transitive) to mix, mingle

   Synonym: مخلوط کردن (maxlut kardan)

     In the end, Narges Mohammadi's physical condition was mixed with psychological pressure resulting from prison, and she suffered nervous attacks: a situation which caused her to be transferred from prison to hospital.
