صبوح • (sabuh)

1. (archaic) morning draught
   • 1258, Saadi, Gulistan:

     چه خوش باشد آهنگ نرم حزین
     بگوش حریفان مست صبوح

     či xwaš bâšad âhang-i narm-i hazîn
     ba-gôš-i harîfân-i mast-i sabûh

     How pleasant the soft, sad melody is
     To the ears of the friends who are drunk in the morning

   • 14th century, Hafez, Divan:

     تا همه خلوتیان جام صبوحی گیرند
     چنگ و صنجی بدر پیر خرابات بریم

     tâ hama xalvatiyân jâm-i sabûh-ê gîrand
     čang u sanj-ê ba-dar-i pîr-i xarâbât barîm

     As all the dervishes are having their glass of morning draught
     We would bring harp and symbal to the pir of kharabat
