Forschungsstipendium (plural Forschungsstipendien or (rare) Forschungsstipendia)

1. (education) Any of a certain kind of scholarship or fellowship granted by some German academic Stiftungen to fund or subsidize a specified project of academic research; a research scholarship.

     Applicants should furnish proof of independent teaching experience at university level or research work (of at least two years if interested in a ‘Forschungsstipendium’ and at least five years if interested in a ‘Dozentenstipendium’).
