• Entry layout (EL) is a detailed policy on Wiktionary's page formatting; all entries must conform to it. The easiest way to start off is to copy the contents of an existing same-language entry, and then adapt it to fit the entry you are creating.

• Our Criteria for Inclusion (CFI) defines exactly which words can be added to Wiktionary; the most important part is that Wiktionary only accepts words that have been in somewhat widespread use over the course of at least a year, and citations that demonstrate usage can be asked for when there is doubt.
• If you already have some experience with editing our sister project Wikipedia, then you may find our guide for Wikipedia users useful.

BTW I am trying to eliminate the old templates. Please do not revert anything else, or I will probably unrevert. If you disagree with something, please discuss it with me so we can figure out how to use the new templates in a way that is fitting with your preferences. OK, I see what you are complaining about. The module (not the bot) doesn't automatically add dative plural -n onto things ending in -erl (it knows about -er, -el, -e currently). I will fix this and revert your changes. Benwing2 (talk) 03:25, 8 February 2022 (UTC)Reply

The declension was changed (by WingerBot who as the name indicates is only a bot) and the old version looked more correct. I also commented that in several edits:

• Häusl: "den Häusln" gives proper results at Google Books, "den Häusl" not, so old version looks more correct
• Dirndl: old version with dat. pl. Dirndln looks more reliable, "in den Dirndl" gives only 1 fitting results at Google Book while for "in den Dirndln" there is more; also cp. with Duden & de:Dirndl (though that's not reliable as well).
• Häferl: it's also the form at Duden & de:Häferl (doesn't mean it's correct, but bots' edits are more unreliable)
• Bockerl, Busserl, Packerl, Sackerl etc.: "old version seems more reliable and was not manipulated by a bot". At least in Bockerl the previous declension was added by a human editor (in the first edit), and WingerBot changed it into something unreliable. As for Sackerl see also Talk:Grisperl.
