Hi! Here's the standard welcome message.
Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far.
If you are unfamiliar with wiki-editing, take a look at Help:How to edit a page. It is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.

I undid your change to the page, because that didn't seem like a workable solution in the long term. Instead, I proposed a change to how the affix templates work at Wiktionary:Grease pit/2019/April#Fixing an oversight with the id= parameter on affix templates. This would be a better solution for the long term case, by allowing the affix template to link to the right sense ID without affecting the category name. —Rua (mew) 21:20, 10 April 2019 (UTC)

Hi! I have no idea what you were talking about here. All I could think of was that I sometimes recommend speedily deleting things, but that's not too common! But the real point is: I just noticed that you signed "Mike", so I assume "Moverton" is "Mike Overton", so I've been pronouncing it wrong all this time. Like a ton-mover, who shifts a lot of weight. If I were in the band Reel 2 Real then I would pronounce move like mauve and there would be no issue. OK, just random rambling, I'll piss off now. Equinox ◑ 18:55, 21 September 2019 (UTC)

Greetings, would you add {{Babel}}
to your user page? It is not mandatory, just useful. Or adding anything (like "Hi") to your user page would make it non-redlinked. --Dan Polansky (talk) 08:54, 29 February 2020 (UTC)
