Welcome!
Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far.
If you are unfamiliar with wiki editing, take a look at Help:How to edit a page. It is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.
These links may help you familiarize yourself with Wiktionary:
You are encouraged to add a BabelBox to your userpage. This shows which languages you know, so other editors know which languages you'll be working on, and what they can ask you for help with.
I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wiktionarian! If you have any questions, bring them to the Wiktionary:Information desk, or ask me on my talk page. If you do so, please sign your posts with four tildes: ~~~~ which automatically produces your username and the current date and time.
Again, welcome! — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 16:39, 9 October 2019 (UTC)
When you signed your post over at Wiktionary:Requests for verification/Non-English, your name incorrectly links to the non-existent entry ], instead of to your (also currently non-existent) user page at ].
I'm not sure if you signed manually -- if so, please change your wikicode to ]
. If you're using the signature feature where you enter four tildes like ~~~~
, you may need to change your user account settings to update your signature.

Hi, your edits on 癌 and 癌症 have been reverted. I believe you're basing your edits on 教育部重編國語辭典修訂本 (or moedict), which is not the standard dictionary for educational purposes. The MoE actually recommends 國語小字典 and 國語辭典簡編本 for educational purposes. (See question 3 here for more details.) If you look at 國語一字多音審訂表, ái is the standard pronunciation of 癌. — justin(r)leung { (t...) | c=› } 16:44, 5 August 2020 (UTC)
