domify (third-person singular simple present domifies, present participle domifying, simple past and past participle domified)

1. (astrology, obsolete) To divide (the heavens) into different astrological houses.
   • 1842, Encyclopædia Britannica, volume VIII, page 101:

     There are various ways of domifying. That of Regiomontanus, which is the most common, makes the circles of position pass through the intersections of the meridian and the horizon; but others make them pass through the poles of the zodiac.

2. (obsolete) To tame; to domesticate.
   • February 18 1814, letter to Richard Peters‎:

     Its vagrant habit was changed; and it became entirely stationary, and domified
