Also passed into Hebrew מִסְכֵּן (miskēn, miserable) and via Aramaic מִסְכֵּינָא / ܡܶܣܟܸܝܢܳܐ (meskēnā) into Ge'ez ምስኪን (məskin), Amharic ምስኪን (məskin), Tigrinya መስኪን (mäskin), Harari ሚስኪን (miskin).
