Verb

փոխեմ • (pʻoxem)  (aorist indicative փոխեցի)

1. (transitive) to change, to convert, to transform, to modify

   փոխել զհանդերձս ― pʻoxel zhanderjs ― to change one's clothes

   փոխել զշապիկ ― pʻoxel zšapik ― to shift one's shirt or shift

   փոխել զբնակութիւն ― pʻoxel zbnakutʻiwn ― to shift one's quarters, to remove

   փոխել զկարծիս ― pʻoxel zkarcis ― to alter or change one's mind

   փոխել զպատիժ (ամոքել) ― pʻoxel zpatiž (amokʻel) ― to commute a punishment

   փոխել զհրամանս/զիրաւունս Տեառն ― pʻoxel zhramans/zirawuns Teaṙn ― to transgress God's commandments

2. (transitive) to remove, to displace, to transfer, to transport

   փոխել զաչս յերկինս ― pʻoxel začʻs yerkins ― to raise the eyes to heaven
