รัชทายาท • (rát-chá-taa-yâat) (classifier พระองค์ or องค์)

1. (formal) (พระ, องค์~) heir to the throne.
   • 1976, คำสั่งของคณะปฏิรูปการปกครองแผ่นดิน ฉบับที่ ๔๑ ลงวันที่ ๒๑ ตุลาคม ๒๕๑๙:

     ข้อ ๑ ให้ยกเลิกความในมาตรา ๑๑๒ แห่งประมวลกฎหมายอาญา และให้ใช้ความต่อไปนี้แทน "มาตรา ๑๑๒ ผู้ใดหมิ่นประมาท ดูหมิ่น หรือแสดงความอาฆาตมาดร้ายพระมหากษัตริย์ พระราชินี รัชทายาท หรือผู้สำเร็จราชการแทนพระองค์ ต้องระวางโทษจำคุกตั้งแต่สามปีถึงสิบห้าปี"

     Article 1 The provision of Section 112 of the Criminal Code shall be repealed and replaced by the following: "Section 112 Any person who defames, insults, or expresses rancour or ill will towards the king, queen, heir to the throne, or regent, must be liable to imprisonment from three years to fifteen years."
