صَفَا • (ṣafā) I (non-past يَصْفُو (yaṣfū), verbal noun صَفْو (ṣafw) or صَفَاء (ṣafāʔ) or صُفُوّ (ṣufuww))

1. to be pure, be clear, be serene

   يَصْفُو ٱلْجَوُّ فِي ٱلصَّيْفِ ― yaṣfū l-jawwu fī ṣ-ṣayfi ― The weather becomes clear in the summer.

2. to be pure of heart
