     มาตรา ๑๖๒๐ ถ้าผู้ใดตายโดยไม่ได้ทำพินัยกรรมไว้หรือทำพินัยกรรมไว้แต่ไม่มีผลบังคับได้ ให้ปันทรัพย์มรดกทั้งหมดแก่ทายาทโดยธรรมของผู้ตายนั้นตามกฎหมาย

     Section 1620 If anyone dies without having made a will or has made a will but has no effective result, the whole estate shall be distributed to the statutory heirs of that deceased person in accordance with the law.

     When anyone dies without statutory heir or legatee or setting up foundation through a will, the estate of such person devolves upon the State.
