‎*ölti (“he/she/it died”) + ‎*-mi → ‎*ölti mü? (“Did he/she/it die?”)

Usage notes

Much like *ök, it adheres to the vowel harmony of the word that comes before it.
‎*bu (“this”) + ‎*-mi → ‎*bu mu? (“Is it this?”)
