This template may be used in Wiktionary entries to format quotations from a version of the Bible in Ge'ez published by August Dillmann (the Octateuch). It can be used to create a link to an online version of the work.

The template takes the following parameters:

• |1= or |book= – mandatory: the book of the Octateuch quoted.
• |2= or |chapter= – mandatory: the chapter number of the Bible quoted.
• |3= or |verse= – mandatory the verse number(s) of the Bible quoted. When quoting a range of verses, separate the first and last verse numbers of the range with an en dash, like this: |verse=1–10.
