You should have been welcomed a long time ago. Here's the standard welcome message:
Hello, welcome to Wiktionary, and thank you for your contributions so far.
If you are unfamiliar with wiki-editing, take a look at Help:How to edit a page. It is a concise list of technical guidelines to the wiki format we use here: how to, for example, make text boldfaced or create hyperlinks. Feel free to practice in the sandbox. If you would like a slower introduction we have a short tutorial.

Hey,
Just wanted to say I appreciate your contributions. I don't speak all the languages you contribute in, but I assume it's all equally high-quality.__Gamren (talk) 13:26, 11 June 2019 (UTC)

Thanks for your work on Dutch entries. I can only say that they are of a consistently high quality and very complete. Keep on the good job! ←₰-→ Lingo Bingo Dingo (talk) 16:52, 23 December 2020 (UTC)
Hi,
In case you're looking for frequency lists or red-links to be filled, pls note these pages.
User:Benwing2 might be able to refresh the top two, if you wish. There are also User:Matthias_Buchmeier#English-Ukrainian generated from translations from English. --Anatoli T. (обсудить/вклад) 06:42, 26 January 2021 (UTC)
I made three red links at the Ukrainian entry for Куба. --Apisite (talk) 19:15, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
I've got a list of Ukrainian red-links myself, if you're interested in helping. (Not at all obligated) user:Hk5183/to do Uk

Hi.
I knew that you would revert my changes but here's a counterargument: it's better to add all the sources to every single entry, even if some of them are still missing, because when they will finally be added to the dictionaries, we will have to add them manually here, and it's just tiresome. We have this philosophy when it comes to Polish entries, I think everyone should follow our ways because Polish entries are simply the best out of all the languages, and every editor should admire: me, @Vininn126, @BigDom, @Hythonia, @KamiruPL, @Hergilei, etc. UwU
Btw., thank you for taking care of Ukrainian lemmas, your entries are of a surprisingly high quality. Let's beat Russian okkkk, so yaaasss, slay queen. Shumkichi (talk) 09:20, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
{{R:uk:SUM-20}}
could perhaps be added en masse to lemmas within the relevant alphabetical range using a bot? I am not one of the commanders of the bot army so don't know how practical this would be. P.S. Polish entries are indeed excellent and a source of inspiration for the Ukrainian ones - cheers! Voltaigne (talk) 09:46, 30 July 2022 (UTC)
@Underfell Flowey, Shumkichi What is the stress of the word теургія, which means theurgy? Apisite (talk) 11:08, 2 August 2022 (UTC)
Hi, Voltaigne. I didn't know how to "ping" you from the relevant page, so I am approaching you here. In the Ukrainian section of the газу page, you have used two colons after the hash on the га́зові synonym line. Is there a technical reason why two colons are necessary there, rather than one colon? DaveyLiverpool (talk) 21:57, 3 December 2022 (UTC)
thank you :) Kohannya (talk) 17:46, 13 June 2023 (UTC)
Hi. According to your user page, you don't speak Ukrainian. Still, you've created, I feel, the majority of entries about Ukrainian words in Wiktionary, and very well structured. Is that true? In any case, that's an impressive achievement! Please accept my words of gratitude. Gradilion (talk) 21:31, 21 July 2023 (UTC)
You connected these words as synonyms; I tend to disagree though, because, while they might share the English translation "why", чому means "for what reason" while навіщо means "for what purpose". Their difference is adequately conveyed in the usage notes of Russian зачем (Ukrainian чому/навіщо are kind of parallel to Russian почему/зачем):
заче́м (začém) differs from почему́ (počemú) in that the latter simply means, "Why?" while заче́м (začém) means, "What for?" Sometimes the words are interchangeable, but sometimes one is more appropriate than the other.

Other sources say чергови́й (not черго́вий), including the linked sources. -- LA2 (talk) 15:55, 19 August 2023 (UTC)
I'm no expert on Ukrainian pronunciation of course, but judging by my decent knowledge of the IPA it seems to me that the end of this word is not represented in the IPA transcription currently shown in the entry. Acolyte of Ice (talk) 14:22, 16 November 2023 (UTC)
I just wanted to say many thanks for editing Mansi entries! There have been zero to no people doing it beside me currently, aside Martianus who used to care for Mansi till 2018. I can't trully express my surprise when somoen started adding lemmas, I was flabergasted heh Thank you again! Ewithu (talk) 21:21, 8 January 2024 (UTC)
Hello, why do you believe the audio is incorrect?
If you have reasons to believe the audio is mistaken, please nominate it for deletion as described in commons:Help:Nominate for deletion. My bot operates not just on en.wiktionary, but also on de.wiktionary. Reverting edits here is not a proper solution. Also, there are bots not written by me, I cannot influence their 'blacklist' (if they have any). Derbeth talk 10:25, 20 January 2024 (UTC)
Hello, I am an active editor of the Ukrainian lemmas on here as well, and seeing that you are someone who has contributed the most to the development of Ukrainian lemmas, I was wondering if we can likewise work on the Belarusian language, as it is endangered, and this would help promote its learning and usage. There are also very limited resources for it, so having a sophisticated Wiktionary would be nice. The Belarusian wiktionary is almost empty compared to others, and there are pretty much no editors. Thank you :) Kohannya (talk) 03:09, 1 February 2024 (UTC)
Hello Voltaigne, I saw that you have been editing Estonian for a while now, I would like you to upgrade your editions, such as adopting the new form of references for dictionaries and adding pronunciation and using etymology templates correctly, thank you. Hello Voltaigne, long time no see!
Hope you are doing well! I just wanted to ask if you have a bot that I could use for an automated function for Northern Mansi. Ewithu (talk) 20:39, 22 August 2024 (UTC)
I believe they are called false friends (for English -to- Modern Greek). hypocoristic has the sense "endearing" exactly as in Ancient Greek “ὑποκοριστικός” especailly as epithet of ὄνομα n (ónoma, “name”). But in Mod.Gr. the υποκοριστικό (ypokoristikó) always has the diminutive sense "little" (wheather stricly diminutive, or emotional diminutive). χαϊδευτικό n (chaïdeftikó, “hypocoristic, endearing”) is usually a clipping, or some other formation. Sorry, that at υποκορισμός, υποκοριστικός, I may not express this as clearly as an anglophone would. Thank you for your excellent Modern Greek lemmata. ‑‑Sarri.greek ♫ I 10:22, 26 September 2024 (UTC)
