I want to just paw through all words starting with "iso" and I can't find such a list (I may be reduced to using my giant but old paper dictionary ;-) ). If there isn't a list then it seems to me that it would be a useful feature. Sorry if this isn't the right place for the question, but shouldn't such a list be on the main page anyway? It became an Lua error message. Apparently, the ISO-3 code for Kurdish is kur

as mentioned in the error. ॥ ☼ সূর্যমান ☽ ॥ (talk) 20:17, 7 March 2021 (UTC)

The German Wiktionary has recently surpassed the 1,000,000 entry boundary — so, does this mean that it should be listed as such, or are we perhaps waiting to ensure it doesn't return to below 1 million for some reason?
At any rate, I just wanted to notify anyone who has edit permissions to update it if possible, and if it's in order. Thanks — Kiril kovachev (talk) 20:03, 24 September 2021 (UTC)

@Abreham97 I've heard if the page doesn't contain links, then it won't be counted. Could this be the problem?
Most requests should be brought up for discussion in the Wiktionary:Beer parlour. I don't personally know the answers. You can specifically read the Wiktionary:Bots policy first. DAVilla 09:52, 27 November 2021 (UTC)
Just in the first page of list of words starting with "a" there are 345 words (look at here) But still the counter of Amharic says 384 content! What is this madness! Abreham97 (talk) 00:43, 16 November 2021 (UTC)

We can now claim definitions in over 4,300 languages! Can someone change the Main Page accordingly? Steinbach (talk) 22:16, 18 April 2022 (UTC)
In the purple box, it’s written “defiinitons” instead of “definitions”. Wiki6421 (talk) 20:01, 3 June 2022 (UTC)
I mean the box which there is a title, number of the articles and languages and a search box inside. Whatever, it isn’t written “defiinitions” already but in mobile view I see in this way.

Could someone change "Suomi" to "suomi" to reflect the Finnish ortography? brittletheories (talk) 20:42, 3 September 2022 (UTC)
brittletheories also left this comment on my talk page:
<quote> Hi, the front page currently lists all wiktionary projects in the format (), even when the foreign names are in another script. However, there's a number of mistakes following the same pattern: Finnish has "Suomi", the Finnish word for Finland, instead of "suomi", the language. Swedish, French and Russian make the same mistake, as probably do a number of other ones. While I can see an argument made for intra-Latin consistency, Russian remains surprising.
It seems Greek and Armenian make the same mistake while Georgian doesn't. ... </quote>

Please, You add the notice about the title are case sensitive. On Wikipedies (as enwiki, dewiki and more) don't are the title case sensitive. The user can have the problems, example Special:Diff/73081170. Example, you give the notice into input box (that is before the button Look up). Dušan Kreheľ (talk) 10:44, 22 May 2023 (UTC)
Why in the mobile view all the chapters of each language is opening? It is very difficult to navigate between the chapters, because there are a lot of informations. I am learning Dutch. When browsing wiktionary, for example pad#Dutch, the definite article has several letters. There are m/f/n/c. I know m stands for masculine, f feminine, n neuter. I saw it somewhere that c stands for common article, but it seems the page maybe deleted or something. Am I correct? And is the common article c "de" or "het"? -- MxLieberm (talk) 11:18, 11 November 2024 (UTC)
