- Thanks for that, I missed the dictionary reference (though it is a mention and the definition is somewhat confusing) but the Bentham quote seems a little dubious as he seems to be using the word catastatico-chrestic, or catastaticochrestic with a line break, rather than chrestic itself (similar to the way it appears as a suffix in achrestic and polychrestic).
